Irish Super Group Comes to Midland Center with A NEW SHOW CELTIC THUNDER – ODYSSEY!

PBS darlings Celtic Thunder will play Midland Center for the Arts on Tuesday, October 17 at 7:30 PM. ODYSSEY, the latest show from the internationally acclaimed group, is a fascinating exploration of Irish music and culture, firmly grounded in the ensemble's impressive history, while ambitiously forging new paths. Kelley Kritzman Named Chief Financial Officer of Midland Center for the Arts

Midland Center for the Arts is pleased to announce the appointment of Kelley Kritzman to the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO). As the Center’s CFO, Ms. Kritzman will manage the financial operations of the $9 million not-for-profit cultural organization, including overseeing all cash flow, managing the operating budget, financial forecasting, business planning, and overseeing the finances of the upcoming $47 million Capital Campaign renovation project.

Dr. Matt Travis Named Chief Operating Officer of Midland Center for the Arts

Midland Center for the Arts is pleased to announce the promotion of Dr. Matt Travis to the role of Chief Operating Officer (COO). In this new position, Dr. Travis will oversee various operations of the Center, including programming, marketing, technical services, and visitor experience. Dr. Travis has been a dedicated administrator at Midland Center for the Arts for over six years, and his extensive experience in arts administration and programming will be pivotal to the Center.

Downtown Midland will transform this summer with vibrant art, live music, and more in the 56th annual Summer Art Fair on June 3 & 4, 2023.  Midland Center for the Arts is seeking established and emerging artists for the annual Art Fair. Since its inception, the Summer Art Fair has held a long-standing tradition of excellence as a premier fine art fair. It is held outdoors on Main Street in Downtown Midland, a community noted for its cultural awareness, appreciation, arts resources and artistic avocation.

Center Stage Theatre Presents Gripping True Tale in THESE SHINING LIVES this April

‘The Radium Girls’, as we know them today, are remembered for the monumental changes for women’s and workers’ rights. Midland Center for the Arts’ Center Stage Theatre will dramatize their quest for justice in These Shining Lives by Melanie Marnich on April 14 - 23, 2023. The Midland Center production is directed by Susie Polito and will be presented in the round with audience members on all four sides of the stage in the Little Theater.

OMG You Guys! Legally Blonde – The Musical Comes to Midland, March 31 - April 1!

Midland Center for the Arts Seeks Local Actors for Regional Premiere of The Sparrow

Center Stage Theatre is rounding out its 2022-23 season with the Regional Premiere of The Sparrow written by Chris Mathews, Jake Minton and Nathan Allen at Midland Center for the Arts on June 1 - 4. Jon Loos named President and CEO of Midland Center for the Arts

The Midland Center for the Arts Board of Directors has named Interim President and CEO, Jon Loos, as President and CEO of Midland Center for the Arts.  Loos replaces former President and CEO Terri Trotter, who served in the role from 2016 through last February.  Today’s announcement serves as the successful conclusion to the robust CEO search that the Center Board’s selection committee conducted this year.
