It’s time to get’cha head in the game and bring out your inner Wildcat for the upcoming production of HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL on the Center’s Outdoor Stage, June 23 – 25. After weeks of intense rehearsals and training by professional teaching artists, and under the direction of Broadway veteran L’ogan J’ones, 20 rising stars in the Great Lakes Region will take the stage performing Disney Channel nostalgic numbers like “Stick to the Status Quo” and “Bop to the Top.”

When it comes to battling stress and anxiety, Bari Koral has discovered powerful tools through yoga and mindfulness to teach families all around the globe. A beloved children’s recording artist and internationally recognized kids yogi, Bari Koral teaches tens of thousands of parents, children and teachers each and every day through her music – and she is bringing an interactive concert to the outdoor stage at Midland Center for the Arts on June 11.

Midland Center and Chippewa Nature Center Partner Together on New Exhibit Discovering Biomes of the World
You might not regularly think about the biome in which we live here in Michigan. With our many seasons like sunny summers and cold snowy winters, the environment we call home is unique and special to us – just like how other regions around the world have special attributes to them. Many of these elements are in part due to the biome in which they exist. A new exhibit at Midland Center for the Arts is allowing families to discover many of the prevalent biomes around the world in an interactive hands-on exhibit through partnerships with the Chippewa Nature Center.
