Auditions for Irving Berlin's White Christmas

Midland Center for the Arts is seeking adult actors ages 16 and up for all roles and youth actors ages 9 - 13 to play Susan Waverly in Center Stage Theatre's production of IRVING BERLIN'S WHITE CHRISTMAS.
Based on the heartwarming classic film, IRVING BERLIN’S WHITE CHRISTMAS is a holiday favorite for the whole family. Bob Wallace and Phil Davis have a successful song-and-dance act. The two follow a duo of beautiful singing sisters en route to their Christmas show at a Vermont lodge, which happens to be owned by Bob and Phil's former army commander. Choirs of the Center

Youth Choirs
The Youth Honor Choir Program is dedicated to nurturing the development of young singers through education and performance while encouraging a lifelong appreciation for participation in and enjoyment of music. We're excited to start the 2023/24 season with two choir groups in the Youth Program: Ovation and Vocalise. Vocalise is open to students in grades 3 - 8. Ovation is for treble voices in high school through age 21.
2023/24 Youth Honor Choir Auditions happened in September 2023. Please contact education@midlandcenter.org for more information about upcoming auditions.

Men of Music
Men of Music, the Center's all-male adult ensemble, performs a holiday concert and Spring concert annually, rehearsing on Tuesday's from 7 - 10 PM. No audition is required, for more information on joining the Men of Music, please contact Grace Marra. Directed by Grace Marra

Midland Symphony Orchestra Auditions

The Midland Symphony Orchestra (MSO) has provided mid-Michigan with continuous symphonic music since 1936. Along with concerts featuring renowned guest artists, the MSO also provides educational opportunities through its partnerships with area schools, scholarships, music appreciation initiatives and guest artist master classes and residencies.
The following positions are open: Principal Oboe, Second Oboe/English Horn, Principal Percussion, Section Violin, Assistant Principal Cello and Section Cello. The Principal Percussion audition will take place at 6:30 pm on Thursday, October 5; Principal and Second Oboe/English Horn, Section Violin and Assistant Principal and Section Cello auditions will take place on Sunday, October 8, starting at 1:00 pm. The schedule will be available 3 days ahead of the audition day.
Registration and a $25 refundable deposit are required to arrive by October 1, 2023 for all auditions. Checks should be mailed to 1801 W. Saint Andrews, Midland, MI 48640 and will be returned to each musician at the conclusion of their in-person audition at the Center.
