While The Drowsy Chaperone is performed at Midland Center in rep with Midsummer, this is not a Center Stage Theatre production. Actors cast in this production will be paid a $300 stipend.

Choirs of the Center

The Choirs of the Center bring together singers of all ages to perform an exciting variety of choral programs for audiences across the Great Lakes Bay Region.

Youth Honor Choirs Auditions 2025/26

The Youth Honor Choirs Program is dedicated to nurturing the development of young singers through education and performance while encouraging a lifelong appreciation for participation in and enjoyment of music. We're excited to start the next season with Vocalise, for grades 3-8.

Midland Center for the Arts Chorale

Chorale 2025/26 Auditions

Do you love singing, but have little time to dedicate to it? Consider joining the Midland Center Chorale! Chorale features beautiful voices and engaging, stunning repertoire, under the direction of new Conductor Dr. Letícia Grützmann! The Chorale rehearses Mondays from 7:15-9:15 PM at the Center.

The Men of Music Choir

Men of Music, the Center's all-male adult ensemble, performs a holiday concert and Spring concert annually, rehearsing on Tuesday's from 7 - 10 PM. No audition is required, for more information on joining the Men of Music, please contact Grace Marra. Directed by Grace Marra

Auditions

Youth Theatre

Youth Theatre offers opportunities both onstage and backstage, from acting and singing to makeup, props, scenery, and costumes. Rehearsals are designed as a learning experience, with workshops and activities that build skills in performance and technical theatre.

Rising Stars is designed for current High School students, including rising ninth graders through current graduating seniors, who will work through an intensive rehearsal process and star in a hit musical.

Performance Opportunities

Golden Guild

Golden Guild performs in area senior activity centers, residences, and care facilities in May, June, October, November, and December each year. Performances are approximately 35-45 minutes in length.
