George Fee Lecture: Opera in the 18th Century

You are invited to join the acclaimed presenter Dr. George Fee, hailed as “the true emissary of music,” as he guides attendees through an exploration of opera and its interrelationship with 18th century society with numerous musical excerpts being heard. . This comprehensive two-part series will feature the interrelationship of music with the life and thought of the era and will include numerous musical selections. Attending his engaging and enthusiastic presentations has been likened to experiencing a “sumptuous feast.”
This is part two to a lecture that took place earlier this spring.
