A Midsummer Night's Dream at Midland Center for the Arts

JUN 4 & 12, 2026 / 7:30 PM
JUN 6 & 14, 2026 / 2 PM

Shakespeare’s most enchanting comedy! Set in mid-1990s New York City, this fresh take on A Midsummer Night’s Dream follows runaway lovers, amateur actors, and mischievous fairies as they collide where love, logic, and identity begin to unravel. With 90s music, moonlit mischief, and a world where nothing is quite what it seems, this whimsical comedy becomes a joyful celebration of transformation and the strange spell of love.

The Drowsy Chaperone

JUN 5 & 11 & 13, & 14, 2026 / 7:30 PM
JUN 7, 2026 / 2 PM

Winner of five Tony Awards, The Drowsy Chaperone is a hilarious love letter to the golden age of musicals. A lonely theatre fan drops the needle on his favorite cast album, and suddenly the show bursts to life in his living room, complete with jazz-age romance, tap-dancing gangsters, a tipsy chaperone, and nonstop showbiz antics. Overflowing with charm, wit, and show-stopping numbers, this “musical within a comedy” is pure escapist joy.
