Where Do We Go? How Do We Check In?

Please note that our Center building is still under construction during the summer of 2026. Camps will be held either onsite at Midland Center for the Arts or offsite at Northwood University or MSU St. Andrews.

Parking:

  • Midland Center Drop-Off Campers:

  • Northwood Drop-Off Campers:
  • MSU St. Andrews Drop-Off Campers:
If your camper will arrive late or needs to leave early, please give us a heads-up whenever possible. In a pinch, leave a message at (989) 631-5930 ext. 1211. If you have any questions, reach out to the education team at education@midlandcenter.org.

Morning and Full-day camps: Check-in will begin at 8:30 AM on Monday; 8:45 AM Tuesday thru Friday.

Afternoon camps: Check-in will begin at 12:30 PM on Monday; 12:45 PM Tuesday thru Friday.

  • Pick-up & check-out will begin immediately after your camp session ends for 10-15 minutes ONLY.
  • Please arrive promptly as it tends to concern students when their rides are late.
  • DO NOT forget to sign out your student…if you do forget, for their safety, we have to call the police!
  • If someone other than the person signing the student in will be picking up, please note on the sign-in form that morning.
Camp Hours:
Full day: 9 AM-4 PM
Half Day Morning: 9 AM-12 PM
Half Day Afternoon: 1-4 PM

What to Bring/What Not to Bring

WHAT TO BRING?
  • Free lunch is available for all campers. You may also pack a nut-free sack lunch and snack. Please note that refrigeration is not available.
  • You may want to send a snack if your student has regular snack time; not all camps take a snack break. If you have a child with dietary restrictions, you may want to send a snack with your student.
  • All campers should bring water bottles to stay hydrated.
  • Comfortable tennis or sports shoes are a must for safety (no flip-flops please).
WHAT NOT TO BRING?
  • Please do not bring personal electronic devices. Phones are permitted, but must be put away during camp or they will be confiscated. The Center is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged personal items. See our Youth Program Code of Conduct for additional restrictions

Parent Information

A confirmation will be given to you that will include a parent agreement, medical consent form and code of conduct; these should be completed and returned as soon as possible via email to medform@midlandcenter.org

Supervised Lunchtimes

Students enrolled in a full day camp will enjoy supervised lunch between Noon and 1 PM daily. Campers must provide their own sack lunch. We ask that you do not include nuts in your packed lunch. Supervised lunch is not available for campers enrolled in a half-day camp.
