Midland Center recognizes that cultural institutions—including our own—have not always welcomed, represented or served every community equitably. We are committed to confronting those shortcomings and doing better.

That means listening to voices too often left out, examining our practices, reducing barriers and building relationships that shape what we present and how we serve.

Diversity, equity and inclusion are not goals we can declare complete. They require sustained attention, meaningful action and accountability across our programs, partnerships and daily decisions.
