Discover life as an islander with the story of the 38 planes that were diverted to Gander on September 11, 2001. In a small town on the edge of Newfoundland, thousands of unexpected guests arrive all at once when planes are forced to land and stay put. Built from real interviews, Come From Away moves quickly, with driving music, overlapping stories and a huge amount of heart. It is about kindness in the middle of uncertainty, the courage to welcome someone new and the way a town can become A Place to Belong almost overnight.
