SESSION 2: MON / OCT 26 - DEC 7 (No Class Nov 23) / 6 – 9 PM
Looking to explore the world of pottery? Handbuilding uses several different methods to construct functional and decorative pieces. It is a great foundation for understanding clay and developing skills. Pam Hart explores pinch pot, coil and slab techniques using a project-based approach. NEW projects are introduced each session. This allows students to explore clay for functional work as well as its potential as an artistic medium. Experienced potters can build on their own work with teacher support. Students are expected to purchase clay through the Center Ticket Office for $50.
