A Community Art Exhibit

What’s Certain about Uncertainty is a traveling exhibition featuring objects from the Greater Michigan area that focus on the pandemic that unleashed unparalleled consequences effecting economics, health care, and social norms across the globe. As the pandemic was gripping our nation, Midland, Michigan experienced a catastrophic flood that washed away the fabric of the community leaving behind devastation. However, this devastation was soon overcome by the hope and inspiration of community members who continue to rebuild what was lost, courageously moving forward thru pandemic and flood by relying on each other, supported by friends and neighbors, as well as by local, regional, state and national agencies.

We look forward to inviting the public to experience these stories of heroism as the exhibition travels from Midland Center of the Arts, to downtown partners and various churches in our community that will culminate in a day of storytelling. We invite artists to submit your work to this themed exhibition via the application below. Deadline for submission is February 28, 2021.
