This two-time Grammy Award-nominated ensemble is rooted in Mexican ‘son’ music and plays all-original arrangements: traditional and experimental, true-to-tradition ‘huapangos’ (folk style from northeastern Mexico), and son ‘jarocho’ (Veracruz style), to new hybrids of rock, classical and folk – all performed with contagious energy and resonant elegance. Playing over 30 acoustic instruments from different regions of Mexico and traversing lush vocal harmonies, this adventuresome sextet becomes a small orchestra that explores Mexican folk music and its relevance in the 21st Century.

Season Subscriptions available NOW for renewing patrons, new subscription sales begin MAY 31 and single tickets on sale at a later date to be announced.
