Step Outside & Shift Your Perspective

All events on the Front Porch will be outdoors, socially distanced, with masks required when not seated for the performance. The Huntington Bank Outdoor Stage is located directly in front of the Center. Specialty cocktails, beer, wine and small plates will be available for most performances from the Pendulum Lounge Menu.

'Go back to high school' with the entire family to see the top talent from throughout the region for our high school production of GREASE led by a team of Broadway veterans for this 1950s musical hit. The too-cool-for-school “Burger Palace Boys” are stealing hub-caps and acting tough and their gum-snapping, chain-smoking “Pink Ladies” are looking hot in bobby sox and pedal pushers. At the heart of the story is the romance between hot-rodding gangster Danny Zuko and the sweet new girl in town, Sandy Dumbrowski. After a secret romance in summer, peer-pressure and cliques make their love a bit more complicated. Can Danny maintain his cool dude status and still get make demure Sandy his girl? 

Okee Dokee Brothers

Explore the great outdoors across the United States without leaving Midland with the Grammy Award-winning Okee Dokee Brothers. Joe and Justin have adventured around the country and written Americana folk music for all ages inspired by their travels along the Mississippi River, up and down the Appalachian Trail, across the desert, and dogsledding through the winter snow. Joe and Justin record and perform family music with a goal to inspire children and their parents to get outside and get creative. They believe this can motivate kids to gain a greater respect for the natural world, their communities and themselves.

Vocal Trash

Described as, "Glee meets Stomp", Vocal Trash asks you too recycle your imagination as their urban themed Broadway style show energizes audiences From New York to Seattle, Las Vegas to Beijing. With their first class singing, industrial style drumming and award winning break dancing, this green minded ensemble tours annually on a relentless pursuit to bring people together utilizing the universal language of song and dance. Their performance redefines the meaning of high octane family fun entertainment.

Jesus Christ Superstar

2021 marks the 50th anniversary of the Broadway debut of world’s greatest rock opera, Jesus Christ Superstar — the story of the final days of Jesus as told by one of the most successful Broadway composers ever, Andrew Lloyd Webber! Featuring fan favorites such as “I Don’t Know How to Love Him,” “Heaven on Their Minds,” “Gethsemane,” and, of course, the title song, this powerful rock epic is as timeless as it is moving.

The Pendulum Lounge

Step into the Pendulum Lounge, a unique lounge experience celebrating Midland's history from the middle of the 20th century. Enjoy craft cocktails, small plates and hearty offerings. Open weekly on Thursday nights, 4:30 - 8 PM, guests can expect a rotating array of live music, visual art demonstrations, trivia and more - here in one of Alden B. Dow's greatest Mid-Century Modern architectural designs, Midland Center for the Arts!

Tickets are NOT required to attend the Pendulum Lounge, seating is available on a first-come first-served basis.
